Terms

Each project is unique, and the method of charging will be subject to discussion, and is dependant on the extent and depth of our involvement. Many of our projects are done on a strictly time-charge basis, so our time-sheet-keeping is impeccable : we have a number of Lawyer clients.

We can aspire to estimate what a possible fee cost might be, but it can fluctuate depending on the Planning and Building Control Authorities, who can sometimes be unpredictable, or whether there are changes in instruction.

On larger projects, or where we are doing a full design and supervision service, it is often to the client’s advantage to work on an agreed percentage of the Total Construction Cost ( of course excluding VAT) .

We endeavour to establish budget parameters, and an aspirational Fee Account Cash-Flow projection. We will issue a number of Interim Fee Accounts, and our payment terms are 14 days.
